Our ACUPUNCTURE SERVICES are covered by Blue Cross, Group Medical Services, Great West Life, Manulife, Green Shield, Co-operators, PABS and other companies.
Dr. Ranvir Pahwa is covered for Acupuncture treatments after accidents through Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI), Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan Health does not cover Acupuncture, Homoeopathic medicine, Natural Medicine and related services. However a growing number of private insurance companies are. This is due to public demand as well as they recognize the tremendous health benefits of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
The following insurance companies can cover the cost of homeopathic consultations: Great West Life, Green Shield, Manulife, Desjardins Insurance, Johnson Insurance
However, insurance coverage depends upon the kind of policy a client possesses offered by the employer or a personal package.
If your present insurance company does not have ACUPUNCTURE, HERBAL MEDICINE HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINE and NATURAL MEDICINE in their plans, please write to them and request that they do.
However, also inform, insist and request your employer/human resources/unions to include services of Doctor of Natural Medicine, Homeopaths and Herbalists etc.
